LOL I just had to use the Jaws cursor to find a couple of checkboxes, & it went bye-bye! LOL That McAfee removal tool is a piece of crap, & that's saying it ever so nicely! LOL Take care. Mike. DO you want to uninstall the programme, or just not have it run while you perform a specific task? I used to have it on my old work computer/network, but that was some time back and I can't remember much about how the console worked. These programmes usually have some kind of routines in them that prevents you from shutting them down in the task manager or whatever, so you will have to explore the options in the programme's interface itself. If you want to uninstall, that should be achievable within Windows the normal way. Sorry I can't be of more help.
