thats not where the script files are for individual users. each logged
on user would have there own set of script files and settings. but this is a
long path if you want to manually go to it. grin.
***
it is in c:\users\your account name\app data\romeing\freedom
scientific\jaws\18.0\settings\enu

Hey.
It is a pain. The path name will be different depending on your system and
setup. I just got this machine running Windows 10 a while back, and
searching over the last couple of minutes, I still haven't been able to find
all the script files. I know the path used to be something like: c:\program
files\freedom scientific\jaws\"versionnumber"\settings\emu, but that's
changed. I have JAWS 18 and although I think I found the correct location on
my work computer, I'm still hunting around here.

As for the archive ... once you find that damn folder, you can just extract
the files from the .zip file into it. This is probably better than a
self-extracting archive because the path will be different, depending on
your jaws version, os, system, etc.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws scripts

Sent from my iPhoneHelp, I'm trying to install jaws scripts for things like
Goldwave and Winamp. Doing a google search for Jaws scripts hasn't helped me
much. I found the Goldwave scripts but couldn't find a self-extracting file.
I'm a Window-eyes migrant and we always had self-extracting files for their
apps/scripts. Someone sent me a huge 1000 long mile path or so it seemed. If
this is the only way, I cry uncle. If someone could direct me to a page or
disscribe the process I would appreciate.

Thanks,

Chuck

P.S. I really wish they would make this process easier. Even long-term Jaws
users I talk to can't even remember the filename or the file-type any
self-extracting file extention might be.
