On my personal laptop, I'm running Windows 10 1703 (Creators Update) with the latest JAWS 18. To sign in, I touch the fingerprint reader for a few seconds. For some reason, JAWS usually then announces "Open touch keyboard", followed by "Close touch keyboard". I don't know whether this is a bug or not. Is anyone else here encountering the same effect?

I have Windows 10 Anniversary edition and when I wake up the computer I press Escape. It just says escape but I type in my 4 digit pin with no feedback and it goes to the desktop or whatever was open. Don't know why but I don't argue with success! Works the same with Jaws 17 and 18.
