After I've performed Convenient OCR on a PDF document, I copy the result into
Notepad, and only after that copy it to Word. It makes all the difference, I
think because the OCR result is presented at least partially in table form.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] PDF Conversion Inquiry

Morning all.

I have a question regarding the opening/conversion of a pdf file. I opened a
pdf file using the traditional adobe software, and JAWS read it as a blank
document. Then I tried to use the Jaws OCR method. It converted the document,
but all I got was a bunch of information that was not understandable. I even
tried to open it with Word (2013), but that was a flop as well. Can anyone
offer any suggestions as to what can be done to read this file? I am using Word
2013, JAWS 17 and Windows 10 on a Dell laptop. Many thanks in advance.

Jerry
