So, as with any document, if they don't allow it to be submitted electronically, just keep it well-organized; keep the font to something that is pretty easy to be recognized by a typical OCR program i.e. don't use a real fancy font that tries to mimick hand-writing -- I'd say keep it to something like Courier, Times New Roman, Tahoma, etc. Of course, it is not critical which bullet-type you use; the main thing it to keep it well-organized and nicely layed out. Use Jaws proof-reading capabilities thoroughly to check for obvious errors. Finally, remember to modulate your résumé to include the appropriate "buzzwords" that the specific job is looking for; often, those are entered into the résumé-scanning program in advance, so if it doesn't see those key words, it will throw your résumé to the side.
