Hi Adrian,
This can be done on the Page Number Format dialog box; there's not set by
default in any built-in style. There you can specify wetter to continue
from the current section or where to start numbering. It is not so clear in
the dialog (I'd have to see the help), but I supose the Start From radio
button enables you to type the section number in which pages start to be
numbered. Section breaks are introduced in the Breaks option on the Page
Layout tab.
Anyway, since you have Word 2010, unless you need full compatibility with
prior versions, you can insert the first page as a cober instead, which
also simplifies visual inclusion of properties like document authors or
dinamic dates.
