Thanks. Well, I don't do well with websites. I had problems dealing with the
website before, but the other day, I was able to find something I wanted.
The emails have been appearing irregularly. But at least when they did, they
made finding what I wanted to read much easier. Maybe I'll try to write to
them about the email that appears to be empty. Thanks.

Miriam

Miriam,

With nothing changed on your system, I expect the problem lies with the
website. I went there out of curiosity, and I notice an announcement of a
change in design. I can't find a date for when it occurred, but the
explanation is here:
https://www.truthdig.com/articles/our-new-design/

You may want to alert them that they may have rendered their digest emails
inaccessible.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] question about an email digest

I wonder if anyone can hazard a guess as to how I can solve this problem. I
have Windows 7, Jaws 18, I E 11, and Outlook 2016. There's an email digest
that I have been receiving in plain text from a website called Truthdig.
Until yesterday, when this email arrives, I easily go through it. It has
titles of articles, brief summaries, and links to each article. If I want to
read the article, I just go to the link. But yesterday and today, the email
appears to be blank. If I tab after getting into the email, I get to an
email button. If I press enter, I just get to something which would have me
add the address to my contacts. But I can't get to any text. Does anyone
have any idea as to why?

Miriam
