freemake video converter does a good job it's free and pretty accessible
the unlabeled buttons are not very important unless you need to do advanced
stuff. I think when ripping or convert no freemake watermarkes are done,
the only freemake watermarks are if you create a dvd.

I never figured this might be of any interest to me in the past but it
crossed what I call my mind such an animal could possibly be of some use to
me. I know there is AVI, MP4 and some other formats the details of which I
have not investigated so far. So obviously the question is what program does
the job?
