Using the Jaws search: Insert, control, F, has always worked for me in a PDF
document. It searches the entire document as far as I can tell. Tom

Adrian,
Thanks but unfortunately searching for text still does not go pass the first
page of the document.

Greg,
I'm sure you're right. To the extent I understand anything about PDF files,
they need to be properly tagged. What I do in order to get the information I
need from untagged financial statements is to figure out what exactly that
is. Typically, it's the amount due and the list of transactions, if any. I
go directly to the amount due by searching for the $ dollar sign.
If I want to read the transactions, I search for a portion of a date. For
example, if the statement has a closing date in mid-September, I'll search
for the two characters
9/
Since the most recent, and therefore top, transaction probably occurred in
September. Naturally if 9/ doesn't work, I substitute 8/.
Note. To search in a PDF document, press JAWS key+control+f.
I realize this is a workaround, but perhaps it's helpful.

Fernando,
Thanks so much for responding. Unfortunately neither Control+page down or
control+shift+n works on the document I am trying to read. Perhaps it’s the
way the document was created that is causing the problem. The document is a
monthly statement downloaded from my credit card web site. Iam using adobe
acrobat reader DC.

Hi Greg,
To go to the next or prior page, press CTRL+PAGE DOWN or CTRL+PAGE UP. To
enter a specific page number, press CTRL+SHIFT+N, type the number and press
ENTER.

I downloaded a 4 page pdf document and cannot figure out how to change the
pages so I can read pages 2,3 and 4. Step by step instructions would be
greatly appreciated. I am using latest Jaws 18 on a Windows 10 computer.
