If you use Google drive, you can place the PDF in your drive, go to the
Drive online, find the file, use letter "A", for actions, arrow down to open
with and click on Google docs and it will OCR it.

Thanks for the reply. I tried that, and was asked for a password; so
apparently, it is protected by the sender. Thanks anyway.

Hi Jerry,
I am using Office 365 with Word 2016 but I think this worked in 2013. It is
worth a try.
Get focus on your PDF file then with the Applications key fine "Open with"
and arrow down to Microsoft Word and press enter.
If this works with 2013 you can also make a PDF out of any of your Word
documents right out of Word.
I hope this works for you.
I also use Abbyy Finereader to convert PDF files to Word & text files.

Afternoon all.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to convert a pdf file into a standard
ms word 13 file? And if so, what are the stepps. I tried going into the file
menus, but did not find what I was looking for (or I just did not know what
to look for). I am using JAWS 17, Windows 10, and Word 13 on a Dell laptop.
Thanks much.

Jerry
