Hi JM, Would you happen to have a dongle? If you do all you have to do is plug it in, providing the employer's system allows it, & you'll run off your own Jaws license. Another idea would be to have your settings on a flashdrive, if their system allows it, & put your settings in, & whammo, you'll be able to operate as you normally would on your own computer. Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers! Sent from my iBarstool. Arguing with a woman is like reading a software license agreement. In the end you have to ignore everything, & click I agree. ----- Original Message ----- From: JM Casey To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, September 29, 2017 12:30 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS demo mode?
That's good advice. Thanks, Justin. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Justin Williams Sent: September 29, 2017 3:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS demo mode? Thanks. I'll definitely need more than 40 minutes to do the test. I've already asked for an extension. Ah well....let's see how it goes. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Blackwell, Clifford Sent: September 29, 2017 3:18 PM To: '[email protected]' Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS demo mode? It's a full version of JAWS. I think it's 40 minutes not 45. You will have to reboot the computer. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of JM Casey Sent: Friday, September 29, 2017 1:59 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS demo mode? Hey everyone. I have a job interview next Monday, which includes a test. The company seems pretty accomomodating, but after following up with them today, as I suspected, they won't be able to acquire a full version of JAWS for me to use at this time. I mean, I'm sure if they decide to employ me, things will be different, but for now, I understand why it has to happen to this way. So, they're going to install the software on a PC and I'll be doing the test using the JAWS demo mode. I'm slightly familiar with this, but never had to use it on a serious basis for anything. So, just to be sure - the demo mode of JAWS is fully functional, right? I expect I'll need more than 45 minutes. Can I just restart JAWS or will it be necessary to reboot the computer to get it going again?
