Hi List,

AVG Anti-Virus will do that if you have it configured to "certify" incoming
email. When AVG certifies incoming mail, it causes Outlook Express to see
the certification as an attachment. If you have AVG, open the Control
Center, click on "Email Scanner" then at the bottom, click on the Properties
button. In the Window that opens, click on the Configure button. Uncheck
"Certify Mail" under "Check Incoming Mail." Click OK and OK again, close the
Control Center.
