Hey Randy.
No, it won't stop the software, but it will help you clean it up afterwards
by finding all the registry entries etc. That is all I meant. It's not
prevention, but a cure. Not all this unwanted software is easily
uninstallable from the control panel, I think.

Malwarebyts is not going to stop software from getting installed if it is
coming in as part of another program. For us it can be very hard to notice
the added software at times. You have to just uninstall it.
