Hm. Combofix is a low-level programme that goes deep into the system registry and so on. I would definitely not run this in compatibility mode. In fact I'm not sure I would run this programme at all unless you have exhausted all other options.

Then check the box that says run as administrator. You may have to play with compatibility mode also. It is found in the same place. To find the executable: alt+ enter on the shortcut and click open file location. This should take you to the file you need.
