Sorry for sending the wrong message to the list. This thing with JAWS being
so sluggish is really a problem. What JAWS is reading and where my cursor
is are not the same.

Hi John,

I will add this to what I've already wrote. Is it alright if I include the
Newsline URL from the National website?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS is Sluggish

Hi All,

Now with my sound card issue solved, I am noticing that JAWS is sluggish. I
am running Windows10 professional, OfficePro2016, on a Dell5480 with an I5
730U processor and 8g of RAM. I'm also seeing this problem at work with a
Del E6450 and an E7440 both running Win10 professional and OfficePro2016
with 8g of RAM. I do not know the processor speed on these 2 machines. I
especially notice the sluggishness when

going through my Outlook Inbox while navigating and deleting messages.

in Word while typing in the document.

In most Office programs when navigating the ribbon

The problem does not appear to happen in

Excel,

when navigating through the list of folders and files in Windows Explorer

Any clues or suggestions will be appreciated.

I have high expectations from this group to help me solve this.

Thanks,
Annette
