Subject: [JAWS-Users] Unable to access list of available networks since
upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update

Hello all. I ran into an issue with JAWS that rendered me unable to log on
to my hotel's Wi-Fi network at our state's NFB Convention this weekend.

I am running Windows 10 Creators Update with the latest version of Jaws 18.
When I try to access the list of available networks in the system tray with
my laptop, I can't access the list of available networks. In control Panel
in the Network and Settings Center, I can arrow to a link for list of
Available Networks, but when I press enter or spacebar to activate it, Jaws
just says unavailable. I have tried this in Narrator and was eventually able
to connect to my hotel's logon screen after closing JAWS and entering
Control Panel with Narrator Exclusively. However, when I accessed the logon
screen, closed narrator and ran JAWS 18, I discovered that the virtual
cursor wouldn't activate and I couldn't log on to the WIFI network. I've
only noticed this issue since the Creators Update. I also just installed
Windows 2018 and the issue still exists. I called Freedom Scientific
Technical Support and was just advised to upgrade to 2018. The Microsoft
Disability Answer Desk was no help. Is this a bug that could be replicated
and reported to VO?

Thanks.

Chris
