For those who missed this I followed Kevin's instructions on both of my
machines and it seemed to have worked. On my backup machine I just brought
up Firefox and I got the usual notice, Do you want to let this program make
changes to your computer?  I clicked, No, and the regular Firefox came up.
I then followed Kevin's simple steps and it looks like it did the job.

by pressing the alt key arrow to the tools menu arrow down to options press
enter when jaws announces find in options type updates press enter press tab
key  jaws announces updates horizontal link arrow down to  never check for
updates not recommended make sure the radio button is selected

Hello all- I have been reading the posts on the new Firefox version that
will be like Edge and not accessible.  I just opened my Firefox browser and
it updated to the current version automatically.  Is there a place where I
can stop automatic updates so I don't get updated out of business?
