Ted, I gave up on .pdf and convert them to word. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ted Larson Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2017 4:56 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] can pdf be made to be more readable?
Dear List: Years ago, I would read tax forms from the federal I r s that were in pdf format. They were quite readable if they were not too lengthy. I mention this, because I receive pdf documents from various persons that are not very readable at all; parts of lines are connected to other parts of lines. In order for me to read them, I ask them to convert them into Microsoft Word. Are there steps they can take with these pdf documents, whether image or character documents, to make them just as readable as the aforesaid I r s documents? Or, is converting the document to Word the easiest approach for them to take? Thanks for any ideas and clarifications.
