If you go into Jaws Basic Settings, and tab through, you have the option to use desktop or laptop layout. The Laptop layout will allow for the Caps-lock to be your Jawskey, but if you have a number pad on your laptop, that will still also work.
I had a desktop computer at one time at work,but still set up the layout for laptop, because I found it more convenient.
