Insert+6 to invoke Settings Center, then Ctrl+Shift+D to ensure that it's
modifying the default configuration rather than an application-specific
configuration, then search for "status". "Placement of status cells" is the
option you need. Press space bar until you've changed the setting to "none",
then close the Settings Center.

Hi all,

Due to problems in communication between my new Lenovo and my handytech's
active Braille display, I have borrowed a focus 40 from my dealer. However,
I cannot find how I can turn status cells off, no matter how much I searched
in jaw's commands. Could someone please be so kind as to refresh my memory
on this?
