It only checks if the drivers are installed and that the device is working
correctly according to what I have learned over the years.

When I use the device manager to determine whether or not a specific device
is working i.e., my CD drive, does it go on the software aspect only, or
does it do a check of the mechanics of the device itself? Running JAWS 2018
