try pressing F7
that was needed when running Edge in 16 07
not sure which build of windows 10 you are using
but it is said the free screenreader NVDA works very well with Edge

Thank you Kevin.
Upon closer inspection, the file I was looking at is a pdf file that
Microsoft Edge opened automatically when I clicked on it.
How do I get JFW to read Microsoft edge or do I need to let Adobe play with
it?

IE should automatically prompt you that it is not the default browser when
you launch. in case it doesn't it's in the advanced settings of IE, with IE
open alt key to tools, select internet options. alt + tab to advanced tab
to make default you can also do this in windows settings win key + i when
windows says find a setting type default and press enter enter on default
app settings follow the prompts

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Microsoft edge?

Hi folks,
Microsoft edge seems to by my default viewer for just about everything. This
would be fine except that I can't seem to make JFW 18 read content. How do I
do this, or how do I make internet explorer by my default?
