Hi, I have Windows 7. the word pad is located in the Accessories folder. I go to my desktop, press the windows key and then hit enter on the "all programs" and hit "a" till it comes to Accessories and then arrow right to open it and arrow down until you reach word pad. You can then make a shortcut for it if you like. Judy & Libby

I'm using windows 10, but mine is at: C:\Program Files\windows nt\accessories The path should automatically be reachable from your run dialog box. So hit windos-key+r, then type "wordpad".
