Miriam, yes, I've encountered this many times, and the solution is to reboot. The only difference in our system and program configurations is that I have Word 2010.

Then I wrote a business letter and put an envelope into the printer and went to the envelopes page with alt 1. Jaws acted as if the address wasn't there. I could tell it was there only because I'm using Magic at 22X and I arrowed around and saw it. I then put in my return address with alt R and again, Jaws said nothing at all, but I could see that it was there. I'll see what happens when I reboot, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this. I have Windows 7, Jaws 18, a 64 bit computer, and IE 11.
