I noticed the first behaviour in JAWS 18 as well. It doesn't seem
consistent, though. In fact, I can't remember the last time that happened.
Then again, this could also have to do with the fact that I use firefox; I
think it was largely at work that I noticed this issue, and they still used
iE. I know I've noted it a bit on this machine, though, too. I don't know
what causes it or why it only happens sometimes.

By "no menus"...you mean the ribbons? I'm using Word 2010 as well, but JAWS
18; can't say I've ever had this happen. It almost sounds like something in
Word itself might have been changed?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Two problems with JAWS 2018

Now that I'm trying JAWS 2018 again, I'm encountering two problems. Has
anyone else found the same things, and if so, do you have suggestions?

1. When I alt-tab away from an IE page, JAWS doesn't return to the place I
left, so I have to find it all over again.

2. No menus come up in Word 2010.

Thanks.
