Dave, thanks. I've read good comments about 16 and actually 17 as well. For those of you who have 2018 and have upgraded from 18, do you think that 2018 works better? Thanks. I appreciate input. Judy & Libby

JAWS 2018 is the latest version; JAWS 18 was released in 2017. FS decided to try and remove the confusion they caused. A major paradigm shift in how JAWS works "under the hood" took place between JAWS 16 and JAWS 17. And frankly I've been less than satisfied with JAWS performance since then. Some very slow reactions to simple JAWS commands, which used to be very responsive. So I often unload 2018 and go back to version 16, just to get things done sooner. Lately I've read a lot about some of you not caring for jaws 18 and having some problems with it, but liking jaws 2018 better. It is confusing.this is the first time I've ever remembered a jaws being called after a year; so is jaws 2018 just that, no 18. something, and which is better if someone was to upgrade? A lot of you seem to like 16 and 17, but just because I need to upgrade should it really be the latest? Thanks for any input.
