I am using Windows 10 and JAWS 18 and notice it as well for a while. I thought it was my computer. However, the interesting thing is we were told at some point if the computer freezes, JAWS will restart. Not sure which one it is.
However, it is irritating. Should not be occurring with a HP laptop with 8G.
