I don't have any concrete suggestions, because I always just grab whatever
keyboard feels usable that's lying around some local second-hand store. I've
also pilfered one or two from work departments over the years (they're
always lying around). I had a fancy one for a while with lots of extra keys
that activated browsers, media players and so on. It was neat, but as stiff
as a board, so I gave it up, and went back to your generic office-type
keyboard. All these that I have seen have number pads, and as far as I know
that's the only thing that makes a difference to JAWS, though lots of
desktop users actually seem to prefer the laptop layout, and it's easy
enough to learn. So, while I don't know anything about
manufacturers....check the second-hand stores, if there are any around you.
The last time I stopped in I bought two keyboards for around $5 each, and
now I have a backup in my closet in case I spill mustard all over this one
or something. :P

If you can still get the Microsoft "Natural" keyboard, it is a full-sized
ergonometric keyboard. The left and right hands are slightly skewed inward
and outward for less RMI, so it is split in the middle. Easy to get used to
the feel. I've been using this type of keyboard on all my computers for 20
years. Hopefully they are still available.

Hello,
I am looking for a mechanical USB desktop keyboard that works well with
JAWS2018 and Windows10. Such a keyboard is useful for an environment where
one types for prolonged periods.
Would anyone happen to have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance for any responses
