You can't buy books from the app. You need to go to the site for that.

I must be really thick because I can’t even find a buy button on Audible.  I 
have Amazon prime so have the Amazon app and have the audible app and I have 
tried to download some books to my phone and it isn’t happening.  I obviously 
need the dummies guide!!
