I've just had an experience with this new mute control that makes me join Fernando in criticizing the way it is set up now. While completing an online form, I had a broadcast muted in another window. The form required me to refresh the screen from time to time. Each time I pressed JAWS key+escape, the broadcast came back on. It was an annoying distraction.

I think it would be better if this would be a setting in the Basic Settings dialog box and JAWS Startup Wizard instead of a mandatory action from witting any call to the RefreshScreen script.
