Hi Mike, It is currently possible to make JAWS to recognize JPG files. Just open Windows or File Explorer, find the JPG file and, instead of open it, press INSERT+SPACEBAR, O, F. Alternatively, choose the option Recognize with JAWS in the file's context menu.
Hope it helps! -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List <jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com> On Behalf Of DGH Sent: Friday, April 6, 2018 5:00 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] PDF and OCR With Jaws One of the best recent features in Jaws is the ability to convert PDF files with the OCR. Thanks Freedom for doing that! It's great! Would it be possible to do that for JPG files also? I can use Openbook or Kurzweil to read the JPG files but using the OCR feature in Jaws would be the bestest. Thanks again, Denny Do you like Watkins products?
