Steve is right. Furthermore, Pro edition allows to use the Group Policy Editor
that, even when you aren't in an enterprise, it allows to make some advanced
settings that are not available in Control Panel or Settings, and without this
Group Policy Editor would require to manually editing the Registry, which is
more risky if you are not cautious.
Also the Computer Management console has more tools than this one in Home
edition, such as a GUI to manage users and local groups, which otherwise would
require to edit the Registry.

Of course there are some other features not available in Home edition, but I
think these are the more relevant ones for a home/non-business use.

Hope it helps!

Does it make a difference? In what way?

Windows 10 pro gives you a bit more control over when updates are installed
than the Home version does.
As far as Jaws performance with other programs, it doesn't matter which version
of Windows 10 you have -- Home, Pro, or Ultimate.
