Al, I'm confident there isn't such a keystroke, which would be very useful. With Outlook, including 2010, you're not even told what number email you're at as you go down the list, a feature Outlook Express had, or has. That's my only regret about giving up OE.
However, your mention of a word search makes me wonder which type of search you're doing. If you just type a word into the initial search field, you're searching only subject lines. The way I search for all words, whether in the subject line or the message field, is the following: Control-shift-f to commence the search. Tab once Down arrow once Shift-tab once. Now type your search term, then press enter. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List <jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com> On Behalf Of Al Sorrentino Sent: Saturday, May 26, 2018 3:40 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] How can I find out what # a certain e-mail is in my list Hi everyone, I am using Outlook 2010 Windows 7 and JAWS 13 In my Outlook inbox I have about 650 e-mails that have already been read. Sometimes I need to go back to a certain e-mail for references and it takes too long to find it in my list. Is there a certain keystroke that I can use to find out what number that e-mail is in my list? The reason why I am asking is because sometimes I would like to go to that particular e-mail and I do not want to go down that entire list to find out the one that I am looking for. Sometimes when I do a search for a particular word in the e-mail that I am looking for, it does not appear, but I do know that it is on my list. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
