I don't know if this will work for everyone but I used to have the same
problem. I went into options and told WLM not to put any messages into the
junk folder. Then when I saw something that was truly junk, I marked it for
the junk folder. This has worked well for me.

Lenny, what ISP do you use? I have the same problem with AOL Mail. Some
messages from a specific sender will be routed to my WLM In Box, while
others from the same sender will wind up in the Junk Folder for no apparent
reason.

This is a much simpler message and no explanation. The original question
went to my in box however the reply was flagged. Again this is windows live
mail 2012 on a win 7 machine.
I am really getting tired of having to check two folders for the rest of a
thread.
