Well, regarding Winamp and most other media aps, I subscribe to the saying listed below. With Winamp, I found that version 2.78 was very accessible with JAWS when I started using Winamp as my default player several years ago. The version does what I want it to, since I only want the bare minimum of features, so that's what I use even though the program is miles of versions ahead of that. I find the interfaces of the higher versions of Windows Media Player very cluttered as well.
