Yeah, increasingly sites will not support it, and Microsoft is pushing Edge so 
not doing anything with iE except security updates.

I have heard that some sites, particularly involved with uS government 
services, only support IE. I'm not sure if this is true but I know at my old 
work IE was the only browser supported by the IT department. So there are 
reasons for keeping it around. But for general web use, it's becoming less and 
less effective.

It would seem that they are no longer developing the program, but you can use 
it so long as the places you visit allow.

Has Microsoft retired IE?  I just tried to access the internet with IE and it’s 
pretty unusable, I get can’t reach this page But when I use Edge all is fine!
