To put favorites on the Windows start menu do the following: 1. Open the control panel. 2. If the control panel is displayed in classic view then press the letter "T" to move to "taskbar and start up menu" options and press enter. 3. Press CTRL-Tab to move to the "start up menu" page of the dialog box. 4. Use the tab key to move to the "customize" button and press spacebar. 5. use CTRL-Tab to move to the advanced page of the dialog. 6. Use tab key to move to the "start up menu items" tree view and then press F until you hear the "favorites" choice. 7. use the spacebar to check the choice. 8. use tab to move to OK and press enter. 9. Use tab key to find an "apply" button and if there is one then press spacebar on it. 10. Use "apply" or "OK" buttons until you are back to the control panel and then close it with Alt-F4.
