That won't change the actual language on the page, only the
synth/proununciation data JAWS uses. I have actually seen this happen
though; JAWS switches to french (or something else) because it thinks it
detects that language being used. It might just be a small section on a page
or whatever, but for some reason, jAWS won't return to english mode.

However that doesn't sound like the problem here; seems like the actual page
is in Spanish, unless I misread the OP?

i don't know if this would apply to you. but with the browser opened open
the control center with jaws 6 open general and check in text processing.
there is a option to detect language and un check it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Pages Speaking in Mexican

Hi,In both Internet Explorer, and on Chrome, I have some pages defaulting to
Mexican. The rest of my computer stays on English, but in Ancestry.com, it
goes to Mexican, as that is what it sounds like, and in the address bar,
there is .MX in place of .Com.So I changed it for a while, and then I went
to check out with PayPal for Ancestry.com, and that came up in Mexican
again, but there was no MX to change here.Jaws reads the page element
controls in English, but the text is in Mexican. This is not on all pages,
or I would not be able to send this message. How does this happen, and how
can I prevent this?I have ad like messages coming up in the title bar too,
apparently in Mexican.I ran Malware Bytes and a full MS Defender scan with
no infections found.Any ideas?Glenn For answers to frequently asked
