Try shift control 8 on the num row. If that doens not work. Do alt f t for options. Then hit control tab until you hear display. Tab to, or hit alt m for paragraph. You'll hear whether it is checked or unchecked. Make sure it is unchecked.then tab to okay and hit enter.
