Afternoon all. Using JAWS 2018, Word 13 and Windows 10 on a Dell laptop.
I have had this problem for some time now. Whenever I open a Word document on my external hard drive, I get a message that JAWS does not support read only mode. I am given some instructions for correcting this, but after closing the message, I cannot activate the ribbons/menu bar. And then I cannot get JAWS to read subject lines in my inbox of WLM. So, I have to close all programs and restart my computer. And if that were not enough, I get this message for “creating hard link”. Anybody out there ever have this problem, and if so, what is the fix? Any ideas/suggestions will be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.
