What is the last version of Jaws you have installed?
If it is version 7, do a windows key r and type in, jaws7 and press enter.
Then go to the Jaws window and to options, then to basics and tab through
and make sure that Jaws is set to run at startup.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JFW: RE: Huge problem with multiple JAWS versions on
same PC

I'm sure this will sound like a stupid question, but please bear with me.

My wife's computer for some reason contains JFW v. 4.0, v.5, v.
6...and now v.7.00.33. Now, when she turns on her computer, JFW
won't run at all! And, despite the fact that we activated the new version
(by manually typing in the activation key), nothing works.

What do I need to do to make it work right? I too am blind, and we can't
get sighted help for this...so...?

TIA,

Paul Shallbetter
