hi again
the problem is not the navigating itself as far as getting the browser to do 
what it is supposed to. the problem is that so far the only thing jaws will 
say is if it comes across a link in a site.
in other words jaws remains silent unless it is a link to read. i have tried 
this on two sites that i am very familiar with so i know that there should 
be text and stuff also on there.

hm, i don't know I guess I go back to the regular browser. the lynx I 
thought might help a bit with navigating the sites that are not very 
accessible.
