To change volume on my laptop with Windows Vista this is what I do. Press Windows Key plus M to get to the desk top. Tab four times to the notification area. Up arrow twice and press enter. The volume can then be adjusted with the up and down arrow keys. Your notification area may be different than mine, but after you tab four times, use the up or down arrows till JAWS tells you it is on the volume control. Then press Enter. There are a couple kinds of volume controls. The one called Sigma Tell is not the one I use. Try the other one.
