Yea. Thanks to this list, I got a Word document with the hot keys. Praise the list!
I originally thought it was a Dell problem and had Dell look at the situation. She took control of my computer. At one point, I unloaded JAWS so I could hear her over the phone. She didn't get any errors and it played fine. I couldn't believe it worked. So I restarted JAWS and she tried again, and sure enough, it failed. Windows Media Player has the following error, "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because it is not possible to turn on analog copy protection on the output display. Try installing an updated driver for your video card." Windows Media Center had a less technical error about the possibility the device is in use. We tried several things, but it would not run if JAWS is running on this machine. I have a Dell Inspirion 1525 laptop running Vista Home Premium with SP1 installed. This came with Windows Media Player 11, which FS says they don't support. I asked the support person how I am supposed to revert my player to version 10. I have JAWS 9 (latest version). Glad this problem doesn't affect everyone.
