I like those intentional decisions. Automatic updates when you don't expect them can be very frustrating!
I still can't understand why the station list combo box on that particular site (zap2it) are not available, even when pressing Alt down arrow. In IE 7, there are 771 entries in this combo box and only one in Firefox 3 (It says, "1 of 1"). Could it be the use of non-standard coding by the web developers? Or is it the sheer number of entries? It certainly can't fit on the screen.
