John Wouldn't one of the main reasons to use Text Aloud be to listen to the MP3 file on some portable type device thus eliminating the potential conflict with JAWS?

John Justice here. I use Text Aloud with AT&T voices all of the time. My favorite is Crystal 16. When you choose the voice to read the document, Text Aloud will take you through the choices in all of your SAPI options. You can get everything from Microsoft Mary and Mike right up to the latest AT&T entries as long as they are loaded correctly in your system and Text Aloud can find them. Some voices use SAPI 4 in lieu of SAPI 5 but not many. In my opinion, based on personal experience, Text Aloud is one of the most effective and useful programs I have ever worked with. As for involvement with Jaws, you can get a situation where Text Aloud and Jaws will read the same document simultaneously. But that can easily be corrected.
