Hello Donnie,

In the download dialog box where you have the file name and the Save button,
the name of the current folder where downloads will go to is shown near the
top of the window. If you route JAWS to PC, do a page up, and use the down
arrow key, the download location will be shown a line or two from the top of
the dialog box. Unless it has been changed then it is probably the user
name followed by "downloads" that will be shown. To change the download
location in Vista, the browse button in the same dialog box must be used.
use tab key to move to the browse button and use spacebar. This will bring
up the dialog box where you can browse to the folder where downloaded items
should be saved. You will need to use shift-tab twice from the file name
control to get to the list of files or folders in the currently active
folder.

If the file has gone to the "downloads" folder then use the Windows key to
bring up the start menu and use down arrow to move off of the edit box.
Press the first letter of the user name and press enter when the choice
comes into focus. In the resultant list press D until you get to the
downloads folder and press the enter key. The file should be in that
folder. If not, just press the Windows key to bring up the Start menu and
then type in the name of the file (or part of the name) in the edit box.
After typing in the string of text start pressing down arrow and see if you
can find the file. Sometimes it might seem like you can't arrow down past
where you hear "search the Internet" or "search everywhere" but if you keep
pressing the down arrow key a couple of times you will start hearing your
results.

Take care.

Brian Lee
