hi mike most likely the document you received was scanned from a original 
and therefore it is a image not the actual txt I had a similar problem with 
a contract I still could not get it to read after saving it as text document 
unfortunately our technology while useful is not perfect I hope this makes 
sense as it is how I found it to be
