Does JAWS read the selected text before you append it? If not, that would be the problem.

For example, I want to copy several different sections of text to the clipboard. The procedure I am using is as follows. After selecting the first section of text, I do a control C to copy it to the clipboard. Jaws correctly reports "copy to clipboard". I then go to the next lot of text to be copied. I select it using the shift down arrow command. This time, I press the windows key followed by the letter C, in order to copy it to the clipboard but not override the first lot of text I copied. Jaws correctly reports "appended to clipboard". However, I am finding, that the second lot of text is missing when I do control V to paste into my document. Has anyone else experienced this? I have always been able to use the append to clipboard command without any trouble before. I am using windows XP home, word 2003, and Jaws 9. thanks Jason Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
