I had this problem and someone on this list directed me to the "power 
options" in controll panel. I virtualized my PC under advanced propeties for 
power options. Here is what it looks like.  Look at "not checked Prompt for 
password when computer resumes from standby." HTH


Power Options Properties
Power Schemes Alarms Power Meter Advanced Hibernate
Select the power-saving settings you want to use.
Options
checked Always show icon on the taskbar
not checked Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby
Power buttons
When I close the lid of my portable computer:
Do nothing
When I press the power button on my computer:
Shut down
When I press the sleep button on my computer:
Do nothing
OK Cancel Apply
